Our approach is unique for two reasons:

 

• Those that we serve are not our clients they are our neighbors.

 

• We do not view those in need and who cannot help themselves as the problem, they are our purpose.

 

Through our URBAN OUTREACH CENTER we are changing the fabric of the inner city, one child at a time. 

 

• We do this by alleviating poverty through our holistic and practical approach toward relief, recovery and rehabilitation.

 

• From experience, we understand in order to truly affect change in the lives of at risk children we must not only engage children in our programs, but we must also work to strengthen struggling families and build community.

 

• Our programs are designed to meet the genuine needs of the urban poor and facilitate their journey to success . . .

 

• Defeating poverty requires a holistic approach that ensures physical, mental and spiritual wellbeing.

 

• Fathers are the missing element in the inner city and we remain committed to reaching, training, reuniting and keeping fathers  with  their families 

 

The little home-lessons that many successful people learned has not been taught or modeled to many of those that we serve. Our missionary staff and team of volunteers become an “ad hoc” family, providing the tender persistence of a carrying mother, the gentle insistence of a father and the support of our extended family. This is what we do best!  We stand in the gap as a community. We assist those we serve with their practical needs freeing professionals (teachers, counsellors, etc.) to do their work.
