CHARITABLE PURPOSES ONLY CANNOT BE SOLD

Items distriubted by HOPE CHARITABLE SERVICES are conveyed strictly for charitable distribution to those affected by poverty or disaster.  Product cannot be sold, bartered or exchanged for goods or services.  Your ministry or nonprofit organization cannot sale these goods at a yard sale, flea market, thrift shop, auction, EBay, Craig’s List, social media, anywhere anyway or anynow to raise funds for anyone or anything.  These goods can only be given to those affected by poverty or disaster as a total act of benevolence without cost or expectation.  The individuals receiving the goods cannot be expect to make the cost share donation or charged in anyway.

Why a cost-share?

In order to continue providing quality products for the poor HOPE has to be able to cover its costs.  Therefore, we ask our partners to share in the cost of procurement, shipping, handling, storage, distribution and administration of these gifts.  Most in-kind donations from the corporate world are received with a mammoth amount of administration and accounting required.  Some goods are shipped from the West Cost costing thousands of dollars in transportation alone. Or come with the stipulation that we have to used approved contractors for loading.  The cost-share contribution is a donation from the recipient nonprofit organization to assist HOPE in covering the cost associated with procuring and distributing donated goods.
