CHILDREN’S SERVICES
All of our programs are designed with the needs of inner city children (Kindergarten – Sixth Grade) in mind. Our programs are fun, educational, inspirational and nurturing. We utilize caring adult staff and exceptional high school and college students as mentors. We have found that children respond better to high school and college students. No child wants to be like an old person, but they all want to be like an older student. We train both staff and mentors and a Doctor of Education oversees all academic programs.
Before School, every morning, we receive at risk children for breakfast, socialization, prayer and bible devotion, spiritual focus, academic preparation and a positive launch for the day ahead.
After School, everyday, we assemble students who need our help and provide Snack, Recreation, Homework Assistance, Reading Lab, S.T.E.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) Lab, Specialized Academic Remediation overseen by Doctor of Education, Mentoring, Performing Arts, Bible Teaching, Prayer and Dinner. Summer Program is offered every day, all day, all summer to children in need. We provide a full breakfast, Power Hour (worship, bible lessons and prayer), mentoring, reading lab, S.T.E.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) programs, a prepared lunch, recreation, performing arts and crafts. To view/download a brochure about our summer program please click here.
Girls Club is a biblical centered program offered to inner city girls to help them establish themselves as up and coming women of worth, knowledge and character. We nurture appropriate etiquette, fashion sense and self worth while developing leadership and character. Girls will engage in outings, social engagements, volunteer opportunities and religious education.
Boys Club is a biblical centered program that attracts inner city boys with adventure and unpatrolled opportunity. The boys are equipped to face the challenges of adolescence and prepared for their passage to manhood as Godly and manly men in the making. The boys are engaged in service projects with construction and landscaping themes, outdoor actives and adventures.
