INTERNSHIP DETAILS

 

HOPE is seeking passionate Christians (senior high school, college and university/seminary students and young adults) to serve as interns in our summer extreme experience.  Applicants should be self-motivated individuals who can serve with Christian charity, passion, integrity, creativity, ingenuity and energy. Candidates must have good organizational and communication skills, be mature and have the ability to follow through on all assignments. They must be faithful, teachable and above all, be advocates for children, families and communities in poverty.

 

HOPE’s Summer Internship program runs between May – August.  Arrival and departure dates are flexible to the interns and his/her school and personal obligations.

 

This is a full-time, Volunteer Internship.  HOPE provides room and board and will coach you in raising support from your home church, family members, other organizations, etc. to raise funds for a stipend, transportation next years education costs. 

 

Some interns raise their support through missionary-type fund raising.  Others seek the extreme experience of living simply and depending upon the Lord to meet their needs.  This is flexible and based on the interns’ desires and abilities.
